COMPUTERWORKS Internet’s DSL is a high speed, point-to-point access solution that offers an "always on" 24x7 connection over copper telephone wire or POTS line at speeds ranging from 192K-1.5MG. Our prices include the circuit as well as the ISP charge. Static IPs are also a standard offering with our DSL which allows you to run your own web and mail servers.

Installation on 144K and 192K is $199 when signing a one-year agreement and waived when signing a two-year agreement. Installation is free on all other levels of DSL service.Installation includes the Flowpoint 2200 DSL Router.

COMPUTERWORKS Internet uses one of the original tier one ISPs - delivers a full-range of high speed Internet access solutions, including the latest in digital subscriber line (DSL) technology, COMPUTERWORKS DSL. COMPUTERWORKS Internet operates with a nationwide clear-channel DS3/OC3 ATM network that is fully redundant and provides an enhanced and fault-tolerant infrastructure.

Our individualized service begins with our highly trained sales teams and account managers. Your COMPUTERWORKS Internet sales professional will help you determine your unique Internet requirements and construct the solution that’s right for you. Our account managers supervise the provisioning, installation and set up of your service to ensure that your service is delivered on time and to your specifications.

Other Requirements/Information

•   Minimum one-year contract. The customer has 60 days after the billing start date to cancel service without cancellation fees.
•   Equipment carries a manufacturer’s one-year warranty
•   The customer must confirm the installation and time by 12 noon the business day before the installation is scheduled or the installation will be rescheduled. If the install is cancelled after 12 noon and for client no-shows, COMPUTERWORKS will charge the customer 50 percent of the installation price. The Covad technician will wait for 15 minutes after the scheduled arrival before the appointment is considered a no-show
•   Covad considers an installation successful if the maximum throughput rate is equal to or greater than 80 percent of the ordered service.
•   At the time of installation, it may be discovered that you qualify for a service that has a lower throughput than the service quoted above. At the time, you have the option to choose to accept or reject the service at that speed.
•   The customer has a three-business day acceptance period to cancel or change the installed service. If the customer decides to cancel the service there will be no charge for the installation and the equipment will be returned at no charge. In addition, the customer has a three-business day acceptance period to cancel or change the customer premise equipment.
•   Changes between DSL technologies that require a truck roll (IDSL to SDSL, SDSL to ADSL, etc.) require a 30-day lead time. All other changes require 48 hours.
•   CPE purchased from Covad can be returned to Covad if it is unused and in its original packing within 30 days from Covad’s original shipment date. A 25 percent equipment handling and restocking charge will be charged by Covad.
